Wednesday Book Talk 2025-26
Fostering a Culture of Reading, Reflection, and Expression
Started on January 1 2025, the Wednesday Book Talk is a weekly literary initiative hosted by our college with the objective of promoting a culture of reading and intellectual engagement among students. This event serves as a platform for students to present summaries and critical reviews of books they have read from the college library, thereby encouraging others to explore the world of literature.
Held every Wednesday, this initiative not only aims to inspire peers to read and appreciate diverse literary works but also helps participants enhance essential skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, and analytical presentation. Students gain valuable experience in articulating their thoughts and engaging an audience, fostering confidence and academic growth.
To recognize and encourage participation, each student is awarded with:
- Certificate of Appreciation
- Custom-designed bookmark
- Complimentary book from the college
The Wednesday Book Talk continues to serve as a meaningful academic activity that contributes to the holistic development of students while building a vibrant, reading-oriented campus community.
Students interested in participating are encouraged to contact the college library .
