Introduction
The Dramatics and Cultural Association at Garware College of Commerce (Autonomous), Pune, is a vibrant platform dedicated to the artistic and creative development of students. Aim
The primary aim of the Dramatics and Cultural Association is to provide students with ample opportunities to discover and cultivate their hidden talents. We strive to encourage active participation in cultural and dramatic pursuits, thereby promoting overall personality development and fostering a sense of creativity and confidence among students.
Objectives
Encourage Participation in Competitions: Motivate students to participate in inter-college and national-level dance, drama, and music competitions to gain exposure and recognition.
Promote Cultural Awareness: Foster an appreciation for various dance, drama, and music traditions from diverse cultures, thereby enriching the cultural fabric of the college community.
Encourage Artistic Expression: Provide a platform for students to express their creativity and talents in dance, drama, and music, encouraging artistic exploration and personal growth.
Develop Skills and Knowledge: Offer training sessions, workshops, and masterclasses in dance, drama, and music to help students hone their skills and expand their knowledge in these fields
Activities
- Competitions: Participation in various inter college, National level competitions such as, Purushottam Karandak, Firodiya Karandak, Suman Karandak, Maunantar, and various music and dance competition.
- Workshops: Conducts workshops led by alumni and senior students focusing on various aspects of drama including acting, direction, scriptwriting, and set designing.
- Avishkar Art Mela: Hosts an annual event featuring a variety of artistic competitions such as drawing, mehendi, rangoli, singing, instrumental music, nail art, and tattoo design.
- Nupurgandha Dance Competition: Provides a platform for students to showcase their dance skills in various styles.
- Mega Cultural Events: Organizes large-scale cultural events that include music, dance, singing, mime, and UV acts, with participation from current students and alumni.

Shreelekha, formerly Miscellany (1967), is the annual magazine of MES Garware College of Commerce (Autonomous), Pune. Renamed in 1991, it serves as a platform for students to express creativity and document their academic journey. Featuring articles, poems, designs, photographs, and event reports, it also highlights student and faculty achievements. Overseen by the Shreelekha Sammitee, the magazine reflects the dynamic atmosphere of MES GCC.Aim

- Shreelekha was adjudged as the third 'Best College Magazine' at the City Level under University of Pune in the year 2008-09.
- Shreelekha (2006-07) bagged the prestigious State Level Award issued by Marathi Abhyas Parishad and Samarasata Sahitya Parishad.
